Bruno F.G. Koren was admitted to the bar in 1992. He started his career at the Commission of the European Union, and later joined the Brussels office of US firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom.
Skadden Arp is worldwide recognised as one of the best if not the best law firm in Mergers and Acquisitions. At Skadden he handled matters relating to E.U. competition law and corporate law.
Later he joined in Amsterdam the first rank European firm Loeff Claeys Verbeke (currently merged into Allen & Overy), where he worked as an associate in the corporate law section for six years before he founded KILO in 1999.
Angeline P. Portier worked at the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht before she graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 1998.
She worked as a judge in training (RAIO), and as a lawyer with one of the bigger accountancy firms, before she joined KILO and was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 2001.
She specialises in corporate law, insolvency laws and intellectual property laws.
